As others have reported I started my printer and received a message that cartridges are defective. I opened a brand new package of 902 cartridges #X003C804LX and installed all new cartridges and am still getting the message. I'm older and it has taken me HOURS with help from TWO YOUNG PEOPLE just to try to find adequate support and log in here to try to get help from HP for YOUR defective product. No way to phone, no way to email, an AI bot that doesn't understand the question. Error messages trying to reset my password. Just to get replacement cartridges so I can print some photos to send to my even older sister. I am out two sets of cartridges now, the set I took out and the new set I put in. How can so many people experience this problem for years?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
