Unfortunately, I've had this printer for less than a year and its warranty is already expired. I've had nothing but issues since I got it.
For example, sometimes it will just not print. I just selected a "Test Print" in the HP Smart app, but nothing ever printed.
And currently, even when it does print, the quality is absolutely horrible. Color just doesn't print, and the black is faded. There are often lines going through the pictures and text.
I've tried realigning the printer heads and cleaning the cartridges, neither of which worked.
Am I the only one having quality issues with this printer? Suggestions for trying to fix it?

Hi @jrtsnabc,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with the print quality.
Try updating the firmware. By updating firmware, it fixes the issue most of the time. Click here and select your current OS.
If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, either the cartridges are faulty or the printer needs service.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
