Hi @TTLBKB,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To return used HP ink cartridges, you can follow these steps.
- Go to the HP website and navigate to the "Supplies" section.
- Look for the "Recycling & Returns" option, and click on it.
- Select the option that says "Return and Recycling of HP Ink Cartridges" from the list of available options.
- Follow the prompts on the page to provide information about the ink cartridges you are returning, such as the product number and quantity.
- HP will provide you with a prepaid shipping label that you can use to send the used ink cartridges back to them.
- Pack the ink cartridges securely and attach the prepaid shipping label to the outside of the package.
- Drop off the package at a post office or shipping location.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

HP cartridges do have a warranty against defects, see the document here for information. That said, there is not a program from HP for credit or refund for cartridges that have been used and were not defective.
I am not an employee of HP, I am a volunteer posting here on my own time.
