Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

You might need to change your print settings every time you print.

  1. In your software application, click Print.

  2. Select your printer from the list of available printers.

  3. Click the Paper Type/Quality menu.

  4. Click the triangle next to Color Options.

  5. From the Color menu, select Grayscale or Black & White.
NOTE: To use even less black ink, select the Draft setting.

  6. Select Black Print ink cartridge Only, and then click Print to start the print job.
NOTE: When you print in color, you must turn off the grayscale setting in the Printer Properties, Options, Printer Setup, Printer, or Preferences window.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
