Please please please can someone provided assistance. My printing is currently at a standstill due to this issue and I'm yet to receive a reply. I remember years ago when hp had the best technical support in the industry. The cartridge is backed by a hp warranty yet no support is being provided. Before being directed to the HP community site the last agent I spoke to on the phone was trying to convince me to purchase a new printer and subscribe to instant ink. So purchasing a new printer is considered a solution to a cartridge error according to hp. This is ridiculous, hp can do much better than this.
Also for whatever reason my profile seems to be unable to send or receive direct messages.

Hi @De_ze,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you. Please note that HP Printers use different ink cartridges in different regions, and to use the ink cartridges sold in the current region, we need to change the region settings on the printer.
I request you to please get back to me with the following information, so that I can help you change the region settings on the printer.
Do you still have the ink cartridges for both regions
Do you have a printer USB cable?
Which OS is on the PC? Is it Windows or Mac?
Do you have the printer's full feature software and drivers installed on your PC?
Hope this helps!
Thanks!
Regards

Hello @VikramTheGreat,
I do still have the ink cartridges for both regions.
I do not have a printer usb cable but I am able to access the printer settings using wifi and the HP Smart app.
The PC is running Windows 11 with the latest updates installed.
I also have the full feature software and drivers installed on the PC.
I await further instructions.

Hi @De_ze,
Thank you for getting back. A USB cable is mandatory to perform a proper regional reset. I would strongly recommend arranging a USB cable if possible, as this is the most reliable method.
We can attempt the process over Wi-Fi, but I cannot guarantee that it will complete successfully. Still, if you’d like to proceed with the Wi-Fi method, I’m here to help.
1) Launch the printer software from the desktop icon or from the Start menu, click Start, All Programs, HP, the Product Name, and then the Product Name again.
2) Double-click the Estimated Ink Levels icon in the printer software. The Estimated Ink Levels window opens.
3) Press and hold the CTRL and SHIFT keys, and then right-click anywhere in the Estimated Ink Levels window, except for a button. The Set New Region window opens.
4) If the Set New Region window fails to open, right-click to the right and left of the Estimated Ink Levels window.
5) Take a screenshot of the screen and send it to me in Private.
Take care and have an amazing day!

Hi @De_ze,
Thank you for sharing the image details. I’ll go ahead and work on getting the code generated, and I’ll keep you posted through a private message as soon as possible. I appreciate your patience while I get this done for you.
