I have a problem with my printer and I can't seem to get any help from either HP or the Community with getting it fixed.  I've been all over the HP website and have found no way to contact HP support directly.  Once they determined that my printer was out of warranty they seem to want nothing else to do with me.  I can't even find out how to buy support service or even if such a service is available.  I've never seen a company so unattainable.  What am I supposed to do, just throw the printer in the trash after just a year of use?  This is very frustrating.  I have been thinking of buying another HP product but if this is their service policy, I don't know if I want anything else to do with this outfit.  A very unhappy HP customer, Joanne Nash.

I have a LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw.  It's out of warranty but only a few years old.  the printer keeps turning itself off due to a "79 Service error" which i can stop.  I've tried unplugging the machine several times and that hasn't worked.  I need some support.  But I can't find a number to call.

Hello KrazyToad,  Thank you very much for getting back to me.  For a moment there you gave me hope.  However, contrary to your reassurances, your HP Case Manager never contacted me today.  So I am still adrift in this situation; a printer that doesn't work and a printer manufacturer who I find impossible to contact to get some help fixing it (no phone number, no  email address, no chat connection).   The only one to tell my sad story to is the "Community" and I didn't even get an answer from anyone there.  And when I get into the "Community" I find so many unresolved problems that others are having there.   That makes quite the impression as well.  This is no way to run a railroad, as they say.  I just don't get it.  Does your company want loyal customers or do they want to drive us away to their competitors?  If they do, this is a strange way of showing it.  I am looking for another printer but I doubt I'm going to buy and HP printer after this experience.  I appreciate your reaching out, it just seems that your employer just doesn't care.

Hello KrazyToad,  I have gone back and examined all the messages in my inbox that I got from the HP Support Community and I find none that request any information from me.  And I don't see any emails from any other source that looks like HP or your correspondence.  So what sort of information do you need and how should I go about sending it to you?  Sorry for the confusion but this is somewhat confusing.  Don't know why we can't communicate directly through email.  Anyway, thanks for answering me again.  Hopefully we can make some progress this time.  J

Hello again KrazyToad,     I just went back and read your message more carefully.  It says to check my inbox in the COMMUNITY SUPPORT FORUM.  I have been looking in my email inbox.  Where do I find my inbox in the community forum?  I didn't know such a thing existed.  I will continue my search but perhaps you could give me a hint in case I come up empty.  Thank you.  J

Hello Support Community Team,  I got your email message this morning requesting that I run a Quality Diagnostic page.  The only problem with that is that my printer will not print at all.  If I initiate a test page or send a print job to the printer, the printer will go through the motions of printing ( the paper will feed into the printer and I can hear it trying) but the paper will come out of the printer as a blank page.  Any other suggestions?  Thanks, J
