HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One Printer

My HP 9010 which is less than one year old, still under warranty cannot power up. HP will only replace the printer and I am expected to reuse the ink from the dead printer. However, the ink cannot be remove since the printer cannot be power up. The ink assembly is stuck at a corner. How can I remove the ink cartridge without forcefully breaking the printer?

Open scanner cover to access printer interior. Us flat head screwdriver or some kind of point tool to rotate white gear on the left side in the direction shown by the arrow.  1-2 full revolutions of white gear will unlock cartridges sou you can move them with your hand to access the cartridges.

To rotate the white gear use tool to press from the top of the gear to the bottom it will rotate, repeating a few times.

Thank you but somehow I manage to do something to release the mechanism and I am able to remove the ink cartridges.

However, I am so frustrated with HP customer support with their service. My warranty information was wrong and I have trying to get them to update the information but after more than 1 months, they still have not done it. I have make so many calls and every time they promise to get back but nothing every happened. Only recently, someone call me, not to resolve my problem but keep asking me to resend information I sent multiple times. It is really a regrettable choice to chose HP product with this type or poor quality and service standard.
