Is there a way to check what i have sent to the printer via HPEprint?
I've followed some online suggestions on here by going to my printers but there is no menu to check what has been sent....surely HP would have included this facility?

Yes, HP did do originally include a way to check print jobs -- the ePrint History feature was dropped (removed) years ago.
The only way to have a record more than the generic "ePrint job sent" / "failed" / "submitted" emails, is to possibly CC yourself (if the job will tolerate it - BCC does not generally work at all) or perhaps set up and send a duplicate job to your email either before or after the ePrint job you send to the printer.
True, "copy the job" methods -- even if they work -- are virtually worthless to prove whether anything was actually printed as a result of the ePrint job submission.
ePrint is old technology: the software is free and is still supported on some older printers (before 2020).
ePrint software is severely limited in terms of what it can (and will) do.

If HPEprint is old technology, is there a new alternative?
I don't actually print direct to email because i use HP software, so when i need to print remotely, a box opens up allowing me to select the printer. So i physically cannot copy myself in...
Any other suggestions?

I do not have an ePrint alternate suggestion for your printer.
