I have the 5 pack 952 CL ink cartridges and one of the black inks cartridges is not working. The other are fine. On the cartridge, it says the warranty ends 2026/08. How do I get this replaced? I tried to support and they just kept asking what kind of printer I was using and I was being directed to 5 different people and was on the phone for 45 minutes. I just want to know how to actually use the warranty to replace the one ink cartridge that doesn't work.

@AmbianceJoshua, Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Community! 🎉
I’m here to help you troubleshoot your issue and get things back on track. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you running smoothly in no time:
Check the Cartridge:
- Remove the black ink cartridge and inspect it for any leaks or visible damage. Make sure you’ve taken off the protective tape completely.
Clean the Cartridge Contacts:
- Sometimes, dirty contacts can prevent proper connection. Gently clean the metal contacts on both the cartridge and the printer using a soft, lint-free cloth or a cotton swab moistened with water.
Reinsert the Cartridge:
- After cleaning, make sure the cartridge is properly seated in its slot. It should click into place when inserted correctly.
Run a Printer Diagnostic:
- Use the printer's built-in diagnostic tool to check for printhead issues or any alignment problems. This can help if there’s a minor clog causing the issue.
Check Ink Levels:
- Even if the cartridge seems like it’s full, check the ink levels via the printer’s display or the HP Smart app. Sometimes the reading can be inaccurate.
I’m pretty confident this will do the trick! But hey, if you run into any bumps along the way or need a little extra help, just give me a shout! I’ve got your back. 💪
