This printer is really not good at anything other than printing on or scanning with plain paper.
I have tried to use glossy sticker paper and changed the settings as required, however the ink is smudging on stickers and they look terrible. I don't not want to delete files like last time when I got told to as this just disconnected the printer completely.
I have already factory resetted my laptop and reconnected the printer to it and still smearing. Help!

Questions
- Which software / program are you using to view and submit the job to the printer?
- What settings are you using for paper size / paper type?

You could be right about that.
?
On the other hand...
The printer should be able to produce decent prints on supported photo and brochure paper, print standard labels, and print a decent document with text and image content. It's a medium duty printer and does support a variety of paper types and sizes.
What about...
"Glossy sticker paper" of an unknown type might not be supported.
In spite of the specs saying "Other Glossy Inkjet paper",
There are differences in "sticker paper" - and not all of these would necessarily be a good candidate for the printer.

For example,
We do see questions about "Cricut" sticker paper not working. One time out of the many times I've seen the question on this subject / paper (and even attempted to answer), one customer did respond and mentioned that the backing on this brand of paper is "slippery".
Regardless of brand...
Even assuming for the moment that the "glossy" side of the paper is OK (as far as the printer and the settings are concerned): Slippery backside of the paper is not good - the printer might not be able to properly grab and control the paper as it travels through the paper path. If the paper slips, the output will indeed smear.
What else?

I don't see any previous posts from you on any subject.
?
In general, the only reason to uninstall / reinstall the printer software is when the software is not doing its job.
Regardless, whether you reinstall the printer software is always up to you - "your printer" and all that.

Hi it is glossy sticker paper I am trying to use. Your comment says this is supported but it is smearing. Can you recommend a supported sticker paper please? Thanks for your reply.
In regards to the bit where I said I got told to delete files, this was not on this forum.
Thanks 🙂

My opinion: Laser / inkjet paper is not ideal.
Use "Inkjet" paper as opposed to a "combo" type of paper that is supposed to work on both printer types.
My apologies if I said your paper is supported - I do not know this is the case.
What else?
Dual purpose laser / inkjet Paper aside, if the printer is not at its best, it cannot print specialty projects.
If you have not done so, do make sure the printer is ready to print.
Steps presents in the order to be considered / completed:
No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues

Without having answered the questions, ideas...
What else?
If, based on your experience with this paper and your printer, you believe the "combo" paper should work, see if a sheet will print using "Draft" quality (assuming your setup will allow you to select this "lesser" quality setting in combination with the others.
How to test?
No idea, really.
Choose to test a print with just one little label printed on the label paper, the test saves a bit of ink. This method wastes the sheet of label paper.
Test a whole sheet of labels after having adjusted the paper type in your software.
What else?
If you wish to do so, try a paper manufactured for (only) Inkjet printer that is of a supported weight and type. I do realize that the brand names of supported paper are not listed in the specifications so there is still some guess work involved.
Example - Adobe Reader DC - PDF - Label Print setup - "Letter" 8.5 x 11 inch
Reminders
Make sure the correctly select the paper size and type in Properties
In most cases, templates / label paper should be printed at "actual size" / 100%
