@Venkata18, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 is not printing blue correctly, blue areas are appearing light pink, and the printhead alignment is also failing. You've already done a great job trying several troubleshooting steps. Let's go a bit deeper to resolve this.
This issue typically points to a cyan ink delivery problem, either the ink isn't flowing properly, or the printhead is clogged or misaligned.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting:
Check Estimated Ink Levels
- On the printer control panel, go to Ink Levels or check via the HP Smart App.
- Ensure the cyan cartridge is recognized and shows sufficient ink.
📌 If the cartridge is new but not recognized, try removing and reinstalling it. Make sure the protective tape is fully removed.
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page
This helps identify which color is missing or misfiring.
On the printer:
Setup > Reports > Print Quality Report
Look at the cyan section. If it's missing or streaked, the issue is with ink flow or the printhead.
Run Printhead Cleaning (Again)
Sometimes multiple cleanings are needed.
On the printer:
Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead
Run Level 1, then check output. If still poor, run Level 2.
Avoid running more than 2–3 cleanings in a row to prevent ink waste.
Try Manual Printhead Cleaning
If automatic cleaning fails, try this:
- Remove the cartridges.
- Gently clean the printhead contacts and cartridge contacts with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water.
- Let dry for 5 minutes, reinstall, and try printing again.
Fix Printhead Alignment Failure
Since alignment failed to scan:
- Ensure the scanner glass is clean, no smudges or dust.
- Place the alignment page face down correctly on the scanner.
- Retry alignment:
Setup > Printer Maintenance > Align Printhead
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
Sometimes driver issues can affect color output.
Go to the official HP driver page: Official HP® Support
Download and install the latest full-feature software for Windows 11.
Try Printing from HP Smart App
This can help isolate if the issue is software-related.
- Download: HP Smart
- Try printing a test page or photo with blue tones.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
