I have a HP Envy 7955e printer. After I replaced the black ink cartridge, 2 vertical lines about 1/4 in apart are being printed on every copy I make. The virtual assistant suggestions (clean glass and document feeder rollers did not help.

Hello @MDRet ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Test:
1) Place a blank A4 sheet on the scanner glass and scan.
Are lines displayed?
2) repeat, but this time with the ADF.
Are lines displayed?
Kind Regards

Thank you for replying--I did not see it earlier and it probably would have saved me time. I did that and found it was coming from the document feeder. Someone in another post suggested looking at the glass at the edge of the scanning area where the sheet marks line up with and sure enough, when I took a closer look, there were two marks left on the glass even after I cleaned it earlier. I was able to remove the two marks with glass cleaner and paper towel. Looks like it was just a coincidence that I noticed it after replacing a black cartridge

So point 2) applies
this is the glass for the ADF.
And the black cartridge is OK.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
