Hi,

I just change an empty original 953XL ink Black with a new, with exact same lot no. L0S70A (warranty end: 2020/11), exact same as the one i just changed.

Inserting the new just unpacked original 953XL black ink I get this message:

"The inserted ink is from an older generation of ink, that does not work in you printer, but it will still work in some older printers".

 

Why does it not work when it is a original 953XL with exact same specifications and LOT. No. as the one just being empty ?

 

If it is the warranty date, that is the main reason, then I will be limited to not have a extra on stock ???

 

Hope that I will get a solution to my problem !

I have the same issue, can you help?

 

Definitely HP genuine catridges from a 953XL 4 - pack. The Cyan. Magenta and Yellow are fine but the black is block as it is apparently older generation ....... from the same box as the 3 colours?
