The printer has new cartridge. I’ve cleaned the print head like 20 times. I have reset my printer. I have updated the soft aware to the latest option. I’ve done all solutions seen online. But I still get blank pages, even when performing the clean printer hear or clean smear. Blank pages. This printer was brand new, I just opened it. Unfortunately my factory warranty expired. I need help HP.

Hi @Printernoworks,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer. Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps, let's explore a few additional suggestions.
Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the cartridges are correctly installed. Remove and reinsert them to make sure they are securely in place.
Print a Test Page: Try printing a test page directly from the printer itself. This will help you determine if the issue is with the printer hardware or the connection to your computer.
- On the printer control panel, go to "Setup" > "Tools" > "Print Quality Report" or a similar option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to print a test page.
Update Firmware: Make sure the printer firmware is up to date. You mentioned updating the software, but firmware updates may be separate. Check the HP website for the latest firmware for your printer model.
Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams in the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can cause printing issues.
Printer Driver: Update or reinstall the printer driver on your computer. Visit the HP official website to download the latest driver for your operating system.
Check Ink Levels: Verify the ink levels to ensure they are not critically low. You can usually check this information through the printer software on your computer.
Printer Head Alignment: Perform a printer head alignment if available in your printer settings. This helps ensure that the ink is properly aligned for printing.
Remember to document any error messages or specific details about the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
