Hi @janiceon,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The E0 error on your HP ENVY 6000 All-in-One Printer series typically points to a paper jam, or it can indicate an issue with the paper feed mechanism.
Here are some steps you can try to fix the E0 error.
Power cycle the printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check for paper jams:
- Open the printer’s main access panel and check for any paper stuck inside.
- Also, check the paper tray and the area around the rollers for any small pieces of paper or debris.
- Gently remove any jammed paper.
Clear the paper path:
- Remove any paper from the input and output trays.
- Check inside the printer for any torn pieces of paper or debris, and remove them carefully.
Reset the printer to factory settings:
- If the above steps don’t work, you might need to reset the printer to its default settings.
- To do this, navigate to the printer’s settings via the printer control panel and look for the reset option.
Check the paper type and size:
- Ensure you are using the correct paper size and type as recommended by HP for your printer model. Incorrect paper can sometimes cause errors.
Run a printer diagnostic:
- You can use HP’s built-in diagnostic tool or HP Smart app to run a printer health check to identify any underlying issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
