So the coloring on my Printer is way off. For example it colors the ocean or anything Blue Pink instead. Yellow is like Orange.

Hi @Jason3880,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your printer might be experiencing a color misalignment or incorrect color calibration. Here are some steps you can try to fix the color issue.

Check Ink Levels: Make sure all your ink cartridges are filled and installed correctly. Low ink levels, especially for the color cartridges, can affect print quality.

Print a Test Page:

  • Go to the printer's settings on the control panel.
  • Find the option for printing a test page or diagnostic page. This will help identify color issues.

Run the Print Quality Diagnostic:

  • In the printer settings, look for a "Print Quality" or "Print Quality Diagnostic" option.
  • Follow the prompts to print the diagnostic page, which may help identify specific issues.

Align the Printhead:

  • From the printer's control panel, navigate to the "Maintenance" or "Tools" section and select "Align Printhead." Follow the prompts to complete the alignment process.

Calibrate the Colors:

  • Some HP printers have a color calibration option in the settings. If available, run the calibration to help correct any color discrepancies.

Check Color Settings:

  • Ensure your printer's color settings are set to default or automatic in the print preferences on your computer.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check for any available firmware updates for your printer through the HP website or HP Smart app.

Replace Cartridges:

  • If the colors are still off after trying the above steps, consider replacing the color cartridges, as they may be defective.

After trying these steps, test print again to see if the color issue is resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
