I am no longer enrolled in HP Instant Ink. How do I bypass the message that says I must be enrolled to print?

To bypass the message saying you must be enrolled in HP Instant Ink in order to print on your HP OfficeJet Pro, follow these steps.

Check Cartridge Compatibility:

• If you were using HP Instant Ink cartridges, they may no longer work after canceling your subscription. Instant Ink cartridges are subscription-based and stop functioning once the subscription is canceled.
• Replace them with standard HP cartridges (non-Instant Ink) that are compatible with your printer model.

Perform a Printer Reset:

• Turn off the printer.
• Unplug the power cable from both the printer and the wall outlet.
• Wait for about 1-2 minutes.
• Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates:

• Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause issues when transitioning from Instant Ink to regular ink usage.
• You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or the printer’s Control Panel:
  • Go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer.

Reset the Printer Settings:

• If the issue persists, try resetting the printer to factory defaults:
