I purchased HP Ink 942 for my HP9020 machine as per recommendations. However, when the ink was placed on the printer a message appeared indicating that the ink was not compatible with the printer. This was the same for the 962 color inks. How do I resolve this matter? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,
HP 942 Ink cartridges are intended for an HP Officejet 8000 / 8500 printer only, it is not intended to be used with an Officejet Pro 9020 in any way.
Regarding the 962 ink cartridge, do you get this error for new or previously used ink cartridges? can you see the Black ink indicated with a black color icon, possibly with a K mark, or may you see any other indication?
