Product: HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer

My black ink cartridge was about half full when I ran out of color ink; ever since I changed the color ink cartridge a few weeks ago, I have received an "incompatible cartridge" error for the black ink cartridge. I followed all the suggestions from the virtual assistant but to no avail. I have been trying to reach tech support, but it keeps sending me here.
