Incompatible cartridges

Hi, I have HP Deskjet 2130 printer which came with 123 ink cartridges... they run out and I bought 305 locally. Now they are not working, the light is flashing for both colour and black cartridges. I understand I need to reset the region code? Please help.

HP 305 is not compatible with this printer model.

i have purchased 302 cartridges and still have the same error message. Please assist
