I have MFP M281fdw laser printer. I recently purchased original HP cartridge 203A that according to all publications should be OK for this printer, but I get a message "Incompatible cartridge" The older cartridges are 202A.
I'd appreciate advise

HP put a SW block in order to prevent users from buying toners in the US and shipping them to Europe etc. No wonder people are buying non HP toners... Anyway, all it takes is an NVram Reset for the printer to forget its location.
Shutdown
Disconnect from power
Reconnect after 5min aprox.
Restart while pressing on lower right hand side of the printer touch screen for at least 30 sec.
It will come up with a message NVram reset and should work .

@Sody, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
HP 203A and HP 203X are compatible in the Europe, Russia, CIS, Middle East, and Africa regions.
HP 202A and HP 202X are compatible in North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Japan.
In which region did you buy this printer?
According to the region, you will have to use compatible ink toners to resolve this issue.
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
