I have bought 2 new ink cartridges for my Envy 5546. The error code keeps coming up IN K CARTRIDGE PROBLEM. I have tried everything suggested on the community forum and nothing has worked. Trying to get hold of HP is a joke!

@ZoeO77, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Do you get the same error for both the ink cartridges?

Have you checked if you get the same error for the old set of ink cartridges?

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

Check if the plastic tape, if any, is removed from the new ink cartridge before placing it in the printer.

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

No it is just the black cartridge that seems to be the problem, i have tried everything that has been suggested and it still wont work. I think the cartridge is faulty.

If you have tried the steps and the issue persists, it could be a hardware issue. Kindly contact the HP Support team as mentioned in my previous post.
