My printer was running great at home then it started giving the error message of: ink cartridges problem- remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed. 

I have used a few other solutions that I have found in the form. These include a hard reset and carefully cleaning the contacts. Along with also replacing the indicated cartridge without any success. Are there any other solutions that I could try before I give up on this printer? I love having the instant ink printer to use for my classroom, as printing in my school building is very limited. Thank you!

If you have already performed the steps from the document Ink Cartridge Errors: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778  and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
