I put an ink cartridge in awhile back ago but it keeps flashing like its out. I have reset the printer I have cleaned the ink cartridge and components like it said it printed once and went back to flashing. I can't print anything for awhile now I redid the steps and it is still not working. So I need a replacement cartridge but can't talk to anyone and they won't send one until issue is fixed . The issue is the ink cartridge so how can I fix it if they won't send me one

Hi @Jbrayman,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you've tried some troubleshooting steps already, but the issue persists. Here are a few additional things you can try to resolve the problem.
- Check Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure that the ink cartridge you inserted is compatible with your HP DeskJet 3752 printer. Using incompatible cartridges can cause detection issues.
- Clean Cartridge Contacts: Remove the cartridge and clean the electrical contacts gently with a lint-free cloth or cotton swab lightly moistened with distilled water. Make sure the contacts are completely dry before reinstalling the cartridge.
- Reset Printer: Perform a more thorough reset of your printer by unplugging it from the power source for about 1-2 minutes. After that, plug it back in and turn it on.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues and improve performance.
- Inspect for Damage: Examine the cartridge and the printer's cartridge slot for any signs of damage. Even small damages can interfere with proper detection and functioning.
- Check Printer Settings: Sometimes, printer settings can affect how the printer interacts with cartridges. Make sure the printer settings are configured correctly, particularly those related to ink management and cartridge detection.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
