HP envy inspire 7900e

I have the HP envy inspire 7900e and am having the same problem. I printed five pages after setting up my new printer and am getting low ink messages and poor printing. I always have these problems with ink jet printers. Please help.

Hi@SoloLeGrand,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Low Ink issues with the HP Envy Printer. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

I have a few recommendations

  • Sometimes an 'Ink Alert' or 'Low on Ink' message displays on the computer or the printer control panel and the printer does not print. The message is intended as a warning so you can have a replacement cartridge available and avoid possible printing delays..
  • This is typically caused by an incorrect selection made during the LCD prompting after a cartridge is replaced or the lock release lever did not snap securely over the ink cartridge when installing.
  • Check the LCD print notification screen on your printer. Often, you can press the center button, or "OK" to bypass the low print warning and continue printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
