I am using genuine hp cartridges but the printer doesn’t recognise them … I was previously enrolled with instant ink but these errors have started after I cancelled my subscription with you … it is like my printer still thinks it shoul be using instant ink carts not hp ones

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
Are you getting any errors?
If you have canceled your instant ink program, and here's what you need to know & do:
If you have an instant ink cartridge on your printer, remove it and discard that, you can only use regular cartridges on your printer once you cancel the program.
That said, if you have trouble using regular cartridges, I recommend you turn off the web service using the steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536
when done successfully, check if it works fine.
