Instant Ink Ready Setup Cartridges and Subscriptions

Good morning all, it's about an OfficeJet 9010e that we have recently purchased. It comes with a set of Instant Ink Ready Setup Cartridges. Are they regular cartridges (at reduced capacity) or are they the actual instant ink cartridges (requiring subscription)?

We have not installed any of the cartridges yet, questions we have are: 

• If we do not subscribe to Instant Ink, roughly how many pages can the setup cartridges print?
• If we do subscribe to Instant Ink, will we receive new Instant Ink cartridges or the setup cartridges become Instant Ink cartridges?
• If we do get new Instant Ink cartridges, when the subscription ends, can we use the setup cartridges?

I guess the bottom line is that we want to ascertain what happens when Instant Ink subscription ends, do we immediately need to purchase a set of regular cartridges or do we still have the setup cartridges to fall back on.

Thanks, that I get. But what happens to the cartridges that come with the printer?

There are 4 cartridges in the box unused. Say we subscribe to Instant Ink, HP sends us new Instant Ink cartridges, fair enough the Instant Ink cartridges become useless once subscription ends.

But what happens to the 4 unused cartridges that come with the printer? These ones, the ones in the photo. Are they still usable?

I'm unable to read off the inks clearly. Do they read Instant Ink set up cartridges?
