I currently have genuine HP ink cartridges installed but the subscription lapsed. Now I can't print at all WITH YOUR CARTRIDGES. What an absurd business model.

This will be the last HP printer I will ever purchase. You had ticked me off even having to even make an account to use the printer i paid for and now you've lost me because of this. Congratulations HP, you have lost another customer because of your stupidity. I paid for the printer, I want to use it.

Hi @AnnoyedUser2460,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the inconvenience you're experiencing with your HP Instant Ink subscription. HP Instant Ink is designed to save users money and ensure they always have ink, but I understand that if the subscription lapses, it can result in issues with printing.

Here are a few steps to try to resolve the problem:

Check Account Status: Log into your HP Instant Ink account to verify your subscription status. If it has lapsed, you may need to reactivate it if you wish to continue using the service cartridges.

Switch to Standard Cartridges: If you prefer not to renew the subscription, you can switch to standard, non-subscription ink cartridges that are compatible with your printer model. Ensure these are genuine HP cartridges to avoid compatibility issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
