Having issues accessing the menu screen on my printer after installing the Instant ink, Screen is stuck on " Thank you for installing your HP Instant Ink Cartridge(s).  Don't forget to recycle your used cartridges. You can find info on how to recycle at www.hpinstantink.com" with an OK button. I have pressed the OK it does not work. I have tried restarting the printer twice but still comes back to that page. Cannot do anything but scan from the app. Has anybody else had this problem and have  a solution for me?

@azbubba, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer screen is stuck at this error.

Reinsert the ink cartridges to check if that helps.

Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC

Go to the HP Smart app and click OK. Check if you are still able to print from the computer.

Restart web services

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

If the error persists, kindly contact the Instant Ink department in your region for assistance. The contact information can be found on the home page of Instant Ink. Click here or go to HP Instant Ink support

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Click on the YES button to reply that the response was helpful and/or to say “Thank You”.

Have a great day!

Apologies I did not see your message until now. I do not know if this is what helped BUT I found that if you drop the screen that its flat up against the machine and then press the OK button it accepts the OK,  I think the moveable screen makes it difficult to press it

I couldn't access the printer menu because of the stuck message. Also, when I tried to access the printer menus from HP Smart, it tells me that the printer is offline.

Therefore, I cannot turn off or on web services.

Restarting the printer, the router, and the PC did nothing to solve the problem. I also tried reinstalling the cartridges, and it also did not help.

Thanks.
