Instant ink transfer with 3 months free

Purchasing a new HP printer and will transfer Instant Ink account to new item. But the new printer comes with 3 months free Instant Ink. How do I ensure that my Instant Ink monthly payments are suspended for the three months?

Purchased new printer (Office Jet Pro 9120e). During set-up the printer software recognised that I already had an Instant Ink contract and transferred it to the new printer inclusive of the three free months. Will see what happens at the month end!
