in order to use instant ink it says stay connected to the internet. Does this mean I have to have my printer on ALL the time? I don’t have an office so put it away after use and only use it when I need to. Does this mean I won’t be able to use instant ink?

Hi @Woodsa3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

HP Instant ink service requires a constant Internet connection so that we can monitor your Ink level and count the number of pages you have printed.

To know how instant ink works, refer to -https://instantink.hpconnected.com/us/en/l/v2

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
