HP DeskJet 2734e All-in-One Printer

Is my HP Deskjet 2734e printer compatible with heat transfer paper? I want to transfer designs to T-shirts, but I want to ensure the heat transfer paper won't damage my printer. Thank you!

The Specifications do not specifically prohibit or list this paper type as supported.

What?

Paper types "other specialty inkjet papers" have been added to the list.

That said, little top-loader printers might be fussy about how the paper is loaded and then drawn into the printer.

If the size, weight, and type meets the printer's mystery criteria for "other ink jet paper", then sure - might work.

That said, if the printer includes an odd print surface (sticky, slick, "not plain paper like" in other ways, then the printer might balk, reject, incorrectly feed or jam the paper inside the printer.

If the paper is any less than 20lb (60 gsm), the printer likely won't support it and might balk, feed incorrectly, or even jam the paper in the rollers.

Another possible consideration --

This printer does not print Borderless AND requires a larger margin along the bottom edge.

The limitation is mechanical -- there is no software "workaround".

Borderless PrintingNo
Print Margin Bottom (A4)

12.7 mm

1/2 inch

Print Margin Left (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)3 mm
