Good morning, Folks:
I have an InstantInk Plan and it seems the billing doesn't tally with the number of pages we actually print. We keep getting billed for exceeding our plan limits.
Has anyone else had this issue ?
...and is there a way to get a print count report from the printer so we can check other than actually keeping a written log (which would not constitute adequate proof )?
Thank you, and stay safe.... Happy Holidays !!

Yes, you can use the printer Usage Report to check on total page counts.
The data is in raw form - that is, it is not kept by "month" and is instead a cumulative total.
You have to print the report (or at least view it) whenever you want to check the data.
For example, check the information on the first day of each month or any other date / time that is significant.
Subtract the old from the new data to view the difference.
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Tools > Reports > Printer Reports
Example - EWS > Tools > Reports > Usage Report
HP_9025_EWS_Usage_Report_1
I've never had the experience you describe - I've never had an Instant Ink subscription. That said, I've read that the service monitoring is not "to the minute" and that true statistics are only updated when the printer and the service sync the information. It that does not happen on the day you check the stats, they won't align with your own running total. Yeah, but? Sure, could be something else that is causing the discrepancy.

You are welcome.
I don't have an Instant Ink subscription - from what I can tell, the Page Count should be available in your Instant Ink account. The data is not always updated "right at the moment" but should be fairly accurate.
