Message on the display on my printer keeps saying I have the wrong size paper in tray 2. When I modify the paper, I have the correct size chosen. Very frustrating!

Check the default preferences in the driver. I have had cases where the driver defaults to A4. On you PC, go to control panel >devices and printers and then right click the icon of your printer and select printer properties from the drop down menu.  Click the print preferences button and confirm paper size and type is the same as your printer settings.

Thanks. It didn't work. "Letter" was checked anyway. I have tried "any type" and "8.5 x 11" on the display on the printer. And it still gives me the message when using 8.5 x 11 paper.

Any chance you are printing from Adobe Reader? I have run into cases where the option "chose page sized based on docuement" is selected and if the document is from Europe it may be in a different language. Can you post a picture of the control panel with the message on it?

No, I'm not printing from Adobe. I've attached a photo. It has a similar message when I change the paper size to "Any type'.Capture.JPG
