Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I have MFPM281cdw laser printer and have been experiencing issues with faded colors. Below are some of the errors i see in the event log. Appreciate if you can provide resolution:
10 | 54.1400 | 1538 | Color plane registration sensor error |
9 | 54.1102 | 1538 | Magenta Density Range Error |
8 | 54.1400 | 1509 | Color plane registration sensor error |
7 | 54.1102 | 1509 | Magenta Density Range Error |
My printer is out of warranty. Kindly advise how i can get this resolved.

Hi Valsimot, i use the printer in home environment. It's in my home office. Is there a way to clean the laser / sensor?
Also i updated the firmware yesterday and since then getting 49 service error and keeps initializing on loop
