My LaserJet MFP M281fdw will not print *some* pdf files from Adobe Reader -- but others will print just fine. Some files (and I cannot figure out why it's just certain ones) will send to the printer (wireless), but will then cause a message of "Stopped - unable to convert PostScript file" to be displayed. The printer screen/message window on the HP unit says "File is corrupt."
I have updated my drivers on my printer, ensured my Mac OS is up to date, and tried everything suggested in every combination I can think of -- delete printer and reinstall, reset printing system, unplug for 10 minutes, reboot computer, etc. -- and nothing will convince my printer to print these files. I can find nothing wrong with the files. In fact, they print to the exact same printer JUST FINE when sent from my phone or printed directly from Safari. There appears to be something between Adobe Reader and the printer that is causing an issue. BUT -- I don't have the problem with ALL files I try to print from Adobe Reader, just some occasionally.
Any suggestions on things to check? I don't know anything about PostScript, though that's what it is saying is the error.

@STREGISTER, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
- This seems like an application-specific issue as you are not able to print only some of the PDF files.
Update Have you tried using the Preview app on your MAC to print the PDF files and check if that helps?
Refer to this document to know how.
Also, try printing those PDF files as an image. Click here to know how.
Make sure the Adobe app is up to date. You may try to reinstall it.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
