@Barotsb, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
You can definitely save paper by printing on both sides (duplex printing), even for a large document like your 52-page file. The HP Smart Tank 5107 supports manual duplex printing, which means you’ll need to flip the pages yourself when prompted. Here's how to set it up:
Steps to Print on Both Sides (Manual Duplex) in Windows
- Open your document in the app you want to print from (e.g., Word, PDF viewer).
- Click File > Print.
- Select your HP Smart Tank 5107 printer.
- Click Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Look for a setting called Print on Both Sides, Two-sided (Manual), or Manual Duplex.
- Select Manual Duplex.
- Click OK, then Print.
The printer will first print one side of the pages. Once done, it will prompt you to reinsert the pages to print the other side. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully to avoid misalignment.
Optional: Print Multiple Pages per Sheet
If you also want to print 2 or more pages per sheet to save even more paper:
- In the Print dialog, look for Pages per Sheet or Layout options.
- Choose 2 pages per sheet or more, depending on your preference.
- Combine this with manual duplex for maximum paper savings.
I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
