HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a 7855 printer with HP Ink active. I have just purchased an additional 6455 printer. How will it be handled regarding HP Ink? Will there just be one combined monthly bill for both of them?

Hi @Jbdamerell,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When you have multiple printers enrolled in HP Instant Ink, each printer is treated separately within the HP Instant Ink subscription. Therefore, for your HP ENVY Photo 7855 and the newly purchased HP ENVY 6455 printer.

  • Separate Subscriptions: Both printers will have individual HP Instant Ink subscriptions, meaning each printer will require its own enrollment.
  • Billing: You will likely receive separate bills for each printer, depending on the specific plan you choose for each. However, if you use the same HP account for both printers, the billing may appear as a combined charge on your credit card or bank statement, but they will still be billed per printer according to each printer’s usage.
  • Plan Management: You can manage the subscriptions for both printers under the same HP Instant Ink account. However, if you wish to adjust plans or monitor usage, you'll need to do so individually for each printer.

You can check and modify the details of your HP Instant Ink plans through the HP Instant Ink website or app for both printers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
