HP Laserjet CP1025NW Color
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I changed the black cartridge in my Laserjet CP2015nw Color. I already did that in the past, no problem, but this time, when I closed the lid, at the end of the initialization process, the printer made a strange noise and got stuck with the Triangle icon turned on. Disconnecting and reconnecting power did not help. I wanted to remove the black cartridge, just in case I did not fit it in correctly, but it does not let me select the black icon, the printer is stuck at the Triangle. Pressing the "i" icon for some reason makes the Yellow icon to flash, but again, I can not select it to remove the cartridge. I can't do anything, I don't seem to be able to escape that "stuck" condition.

Please help.

You will likely need to manually remove the cartridges as it sounds like one is jammed. Unplug the printer, open the cartridge door and remove the cartridge that is in position. If none are follow the instructions below. You need to manually disengage the carousel brake and then rotate the carousel till you can remove a cartridge. Repeat until you have all cartridges removed. Be careful to not damage the drum unit on the cartridges as you remove them. Examine the black to see if there is something out of place compared to your old black cartridge.  Repower the machine and install the cartridges when prompted.

Release the brake and rotate as shown below:

You have been super useful! Thank you so much!!

I followed your instructions and I was able to unblock the printer and remove the cartridges.

I don't know what was wrong with the new black cartridge, but after I removed it, the printer did not get stuck anymore (although of course it can't print as I don't have a replacement black unit). So obviously there must be something wrong with the cartridge. I'll return it to the shop.

Thanks again !!!
