I have an HP 8740- Prior to recent firmware updates my genuine 952xl and 956xl cartridges worked. Now they are rejected. The wording on the packages says absolutely NOTHING about the cartridge not working after the warranty date. This is unacceptable! Will HP supply replacements. or a credit for these very expensive cartridges?

I have exactly the same problem and same error message as the other posters in this thread with a genuine HP 952XL black cartridge I purchased for my HP 8740 printer. I expect HP to send me a gift certificate or a replacement cartridge. Can someone at HP please contact me to arrange this?

I understand you are facing an ink rejection issue with your HP Officejet Pro 8740. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
