Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

So, I ran out of ink, went to my drawer and pulled out a 1/2 full black XXL Official HP Cartridge when I received this error and halting all printing jobs in que. HP, you have been a thorn in my side for years. I can remember you use to be a great commercial company. I hate having to rely on your printer ink or the money it takes to replace these things!

 

FIX FIRMWARE NOW!!

Hi @Drema101,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.

 

There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it is not working.
