Guys, we do have the OfficeJet 8720 and just tried to install the 2nd cartridge from our Costco multi pack 952XL. It rejected the new cartridge saying it was expired.
HP A warranty coverage is very different than an expiration date. If you had told me they would expire I would not have purchased the extra cartridges based on the volume of printing my daughter and wife do for home School.
I request you change the software to accomodate these cartridges or send me a refund or replacement cartridge.

Since I don't get the @towercm I will go ahead and reply to this one. I had to spend another $160+ on new ink because I get the message of the indicated cartridge is an older generation cartridge that does not work in your printer. It can still be used with some older printer models. The new ink I purchased from office max and Walmart both have dates of this summer and I just purchased them so I'll be out another $160+ then?
I feel a replacement set of ink should be sent to me for this. Nothing on the box says expires, it only says APR2020, nothing at all about it not working.
