My hp envy photo printer will not print the whole page I did run diagnostics. I ran all of the cleaning tests. I have only 2 cartridges, 1 black 1 color. When I cleaned the cartridges, the magenta shows perfect now, but the other 2 colors don't. The black is still kind of faded through the page. I need help. Maybe i'm not cleaning it right or is there something else I need to do?

Hi @Ladyk1509,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've taken some initial steps to troubleshoot the issue with your HP Envy Photo printer. If the problem persists, here are some additional steps you can try.
- Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your black and color cartridges have sufficient ink levels. Low ink levels can affect print quality. If the ink levels are low, consider replacing the cartridges.
- Alignment and Calibration: Perform an alignment and calibration process. This can often be done through the printer's software or control panel. Refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions.
- Update Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers for your specific printer model. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues.
- Paper Quality: Ensure you are using the correct type and quality of paper for your printer. Low-quality or incompatible paper may result in printing problems.
- Print Settings: Check the print settings in your computer's print dialog box. Make sure that the correct paper type and quality settings are selected. Also, verify that the color settings are appropriate for your document.
- Clean Printhead Manually: If the automatic cleaning hasn't resolved the issue, you may need to clean the printhead manually. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this. Typically, it involves removing the cartridges and using a lint-free cloth or cotton swab with distilled water to clean the printhead.
- Print a Test Page: Print a test page to check whether the issue persists. Most printers have a built-in function to print a test page directly from the printer's control panel.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
