I bought HP OfficeJet 250 All-in-one mobile printer so that I have access to a printer whenever I travel.
However, whenever I travel whether it be by plane or public transit, the ink cartridge leaks. This has happened multiple times with multiple different cartridges. The ink cartridge I have used are the HP Original 62 black Ink and the HP Original 62 Tri color. Wrapping them in paper towel and putting them in an air tight container or zip lock bag has not worked.
Questions: How do I fix this so the printer can operate post-travel without buying new ink every time
ANSWER: Using Clear tape on gold contact strip / printhead area where the ink comes out from stops it from leaking during travel. I imagine this works because it replicates how ink cartridges' come when brand new. With a strip of tape covering the printer head that you must pull off to start usage.
