Suddenly the printer won't print ANY black ink (all print jobs including black ink are blank).  I have replaced the Black ink cartridge twice (both times with a brand new cartridge), as well as performing the clean printer head process multiple times, but still no luck.

Further suggestions?!?

Thanks!

@TheRealLT, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is not printing black ink, here are several troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

Check Ink Levels:

  • Use the printer control panel to check the estimated ink levels. If the black ink is low or empty, consider replacing the cartridge with a new HP genuine cartridge.

Inspect and Replace Cartridges:

  • Remove the black ink cartridge and inspect it for any damage. If defective, replace it with a new one.

Align Printhead:

  • Use the automated tool on your printer's control panel to align the printhead, which can often rectify issues related to print quality.

Clean the Printhead:

  • Access the printer’s menu to run the printhead cleaning process. This can remove blockages that are preventing ink from being transferred to the paper.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges:

  • Ensure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges, as third-party or refilled cartridges might not offer the same quality or performance.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer, unplug the power cord, wait for a minute, and then reconnect it. Power the printer back on and try printing again.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check for any available firmware updates for your printer model. These updates can resolve known issues and improve printer functionality.

Check Print Settings:

  • Verify that the print settings are correctly set for black and white print jobs, and that no settings are inadvertently set to print from a color cartridge instead.

Also, you may refer to this guide: HP OfficeJet 6900, 8010, 8020, 8030 printers - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issue...

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
