Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've received reports from 3 different users that their OJ 9015 uses yellow ink at a rate about 1.5 times faster than the other colors.  For about every 2 sets of ink, extra yellow has to be purchased.  I noticed that someone else posted a similar message back in 2021.  Has anyone else been experiencing this?  This is the first time I've ever experienced this issue and to have 3 different people report it is odd.

Yellow is used very often in mixing to get other colors. To get red magenta is mixed with yellow to get green cyan is mixed with yellow that could be the reason.

True, that.  😉

 

My OfficeJet Pro 9025 (since 2019) has always gobbled more yellow ink than any other color.

Printer is clean, maintained, and works without problems.

Just replaced the yellow again, in fact.
