Officejet 8600 has new HP brand cartridges but keeps giving an ink system error.  I have  cycled the power, unplugged, re-plugged, cleaned the cartridge contacts as well as the ones on the print head.  Still getting the error.  The printer device in Preferences says it has no toner.  Not true.  The online monitor app from HP says the cartridges are all full.

Don't know what to try next.  Thanks for any suggestions

Jeff

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. If you have already performed the steps from the document Problem with Ink System' Errors: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06435019 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps!
