Photosmart B110a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bit of a long shot here.

I have a Photosmart B110a printer which I have not used for years.  I decided to start to use it again (Working from home so no access to the office printers for over a year) as I needed some printouts.

I initially tried scanning and the scanner was going very slow (Possibly full speed but as I say years since last used).  I did an OOB reset as although it had not been used for years it was always switched on so I though I would do a reset just in case.

It is now asking for the setup cartridges.  I actually found them - although totally dry now and it does not help.

Before the reset it was not showing this error.

How do I get past this error?

I don't want to buy new cartridges before I know I can clear this.

Hope this makes sense

Phil

Welcome to HP Support Community

I would like to help

The message is because you did an out of box reset and now the printer is prompting for the Setup Cartridges since it has gone back to original Factory settings

If the Setup Cartridges you have are dried up, I suggest you contact HP Support in your region and check if a replacement Setup cartridges is available before you attempt to replace the Ink cartridges
