Answer
The usual "why?" suspects include (and might not be limited to) these underlying issues:
- The ink is dried out
- The cartridge(s) is / are clogged
- The printer Failed the quality check in the troubleshooting - The printer is dirty (and needs to be cleaned)
- The print settings are wrong for the current paper size / type / job
- The paper itself is too dry, too damp, wrong type for the job, color other than white, poor quality

I have the same issue with a 3760. So far I have changed the cartridges, run a total of 4 test prints and completed 2 cleans and deep cleans of the cartridges. Print quality has only slightly improved and still missing the same parts of a document eg bullet point 1 of 5, the ends of certain paragraphs and the bottom of some lines. Come to the conclusion it is out of warranty so needs replacing due to a software fault.
