HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Getting 5 small evenly spaced black "blotches" along left edge of all print pages, either via document feeder of flat glass ,

plus a vertical thin black line on mid to right side of pages printed via the document feeder only.

Have cleaned all surfaces and printed a cleaning page twice. Cleaning pages come out Ok, but then I print  and problems have not been fixed.

Where do I go from here? I have tried the HP Virtual Assistant but got nowhere.

Hello, welcome to HP Community forum.
Regarding the small line you need to clean the ADF glass (not the same printer but the direction is the same)

Regarding the dots, sounds like your drum unit has a small dent in it. Can you please print out supply status page from the reports menu from your printer and tell me the percentage of the supplies?

Just a electronics enthusiast trying to fix everything.
